Cathy Law, and Same Day Typing have provided me with transcription services. We provide one on one recorded interviews for transcribing. Cathy provides an excellent turnaround time, and very good transcripts. All are transcribed very well, with very few unclear areas. If there is a section where the transcriber is unable to hear what is said, this section is clearly marked, and provided with a time stamp, so that I can later go back and fill in the missing information if required. However, this seldom happens. I have found the transcription of people with accents (as there have been a few) transcribed with good detail, and minimum "unclears". Cathy is excellent at maintaining communication, to see what the upcoming workload is, so that she can have her staff ready, and her prices are very reasonable for the services provided. Her services were so good last time, as she transcribed over 35 interviews within one month, we have now hired her again on another research project.
